Day 1: Arrival at Paro – Thimphu Sightseeing

Arrival at Paro Airport
Upon arrival at Paro Airport, you’ll be greeted by our representative and transferred to Thimphu, Bhutan's vibrant capital city.
Thimphu Sightseeing:
National Memorial Chorten: A landmark stupa built in 1974 to honor the third Druk Gyalpo, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. It is one of the most visible religious landmarks in Bhutan.
Kuensel Phodrang: A scenic viewpoint offering stunning views of the Thimphu valley and a large statue of Buddha Dordenma, one of the world’s largest Buddha statues.
Tashichho Dzong: A fortress-monastery that houses the offices of the King and the government.
Folk Heritage Museum: Discover Bhutan’s rich culture and traditions through exhibits housed in a 150-year-old traditional home.
Overnight: Stay at your hotel in Thimphu.

Day 2: Thimphu – Punakha / Wangdue Sightseeing

Drive to Punakha / Wangdue
After breakfast, journey to Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan, passing through Dochula Pass (3150 mts), offering panoramic views of the Himalayas.
Punakha Sightseeing:
Dochula Pass: A beautiful mountain pass adorned with 108 memorial chortens (stupas), which honor Bhutan's fourth king.
Punakha Dzong: A fortress and monastery strategically situated at the confluence of two rivers, offering a peaceful and picturesque atmosphere.
Chimi Lhakhang: A temple dedicated to the "Divine Madman," Drukpa Kunley, known for its fertility blessing rituals.
Overnight: Stay at your hotel in Punakha / Wangdue.

Day 3: Punakha / Wangdue – Paro Sightseeing

Drive to Paro
After breakfast, head to Paro, known for its rich cultural heritage and stunning views of the Himalayas.
Paro Sightseeing:
National Museum (Ta Dzong): Explore Bhutanese art and culture, housed in a former watchtower with a stunning view of Paro Dzong.
Rinpung Dzong: A fortress and monastery that houses the administrative offices of Paro.
Kyichu Lhakhang: One of Bhutan’s oldest temples, built in the 7th century by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo.
Overnight: Stay at your hotel in Paro.

Day 4: Paro – Tiger’s Nest Hike & Local Sightseeing

Tiger’s Nest (Taktsang) Monastery Hike
After breakfast, embark on a thrilling hike to the Taktsang Monastery, also known as Tiger’s Nest, perched on the cliffs of the Paro Valley. This sacred site is where Guru Padmasambhava is said to have meditated in the 8th century.
Drukgyel Dzong: Visit the ruins of this historic fortress, which commemorates Bhutan's victory over Tibetan invaders in the 17th century.
Kyichu Temple: Visit this sacred temple, one of the 108 border-temples built by King Songtsen Gampo.
Evening: Explore Paro town and shop for local handicrafts.
Overnight: Stay at your hotel in Paro.

Day 5: Departure from Paro

Departure from Paro Airport
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Paro Airport for your onward journey.
